The Phoenix is a powerful symbol for transformation and rebirth, but also for Enlightenment. We all have this powerful archetype in ourselves and we can use its power and symbolism to ignite in ourselves its qualities.
(Re)Birth and transformation can occur in our lives at any moment, whether you are birthing a new idea or whether you're are leaving behind what no longer serves you
For me, this painting has come during a difficult time in my life and it has given me strength and courage. I purposefully painted it with vibrant colours and with a majestic geometry as to signal that, when the time is right, we too can spread our wings and free ourselves from structures or concepts that are now too small for us.
As the Phoenix, we too can rise from our aches and remember that we are always one breath away in transforming what no longer serves us.
